December 28, 2012

Here is a sneak pick at some of our February 2013 exhibitors.

Meet Allan Vos

Allan Vos

Allan Vos studied Fashion Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands. After working at the costume department for Cirque du Soleil, Allan designed for Disney USA and multiple other entertainment companies.

He, then, created a bag line which was showcased at several events such as Museumnacht, Residence de la mode and also in Marrakech. Moreover, Allan did his master studies at Central Saint Martins in London. In 2012, Allan Vos showcased his first menswear collection at Amsterdam Fashion Week.

The very talented Allan Vos has had his dresses worn on the red carpet and also designed for famous entertainment and events companies. It is not a surprised that he caught Lady Gaga’s attention and created outfits for her “Dancing in the dark” video.

Meet Cherelle Brown

Cherelle Brown, head designer and creator of accessories label Qing, is cooperating with London Garments Expo for the February 2013 show. Cherelle Brown is a graduate of the London College of Fashion. The compelling designer has developed and produced seasonal collections of her accessory label Qing and wishes to expand the line with stationary and lifestyle products in the future.

Each product made for the A/W 2013 collection displays a trail line of stars picked from the Praesepe star cluster; each trail selected highlights a unique path. These were subtly portrayed via the stitching detail exhibited throughout the front body of each item in the range.

Qing is a unisex label, attractive and professional.  Qing is inspired by the planet Jupiter; (The King of all planets) The Romans applied this name to the planet as it is the largest planet in our solar system. As the brand is asexual, the name has combined both Female and Masculine nouns – King and Queen to create the trade mark name Qing (Pronounced King). Cherelle Brown will launch Qing S/S 2014 during London Garments Expo February 2013.
